Manchester United have set a price tag for Real Madrid star Paul Pogba after he failed to secure a transfer back in the summer.
Manchester United will demand an eyewatering £178million to let Paul Pogba join Real Madrid during the transfer window.
That’s according to Catalonia newspaper Sport, who claim Los Blancos remain keen on signing the World Cup winner despite failing to strike a deal back in the summer.
Pogba was keen to secure a move away from Manchester United and expressed his intentions to leave by saying: “There is a lot of thinking [going on].
“I have been three years in Manchester and have been doing great – some good moments and some bad moments, like everybody, like everywhere else.
“After this season and everything that happened, with my season being my best season … it could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else.”
The report says United held talks with Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, about extending his stay at Old Trafford.
But that hasn’t deterred Real from trying to sign the 26-year-old when the transfer window reopens this winter.
There is problems, however.
