Wolves are reportedly in talks over the potential signing of Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira.
The 32-year-old German World Cup winner’s contract runs until June 2021, but he is surplus to requirements under new Juve manager Maurizio Sarri, according to Football Italia, following the arrivals of Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot.
Khedira has been linked with Besitkas in Turkey, while there are several clubs in MLS also keen, but the ex-Real Madrid star could be tempted by the Premier League.
Nuno Espirito Santo is also keeping tabs on Southampton midfielder Mario Lemina, who is keen to leave St Mary’s and AC Milan forward Patrick Cutrone has also been linked.
Santo brought in Ruben Neves, Joao Moutinho and Rui Patricio and this summer they have spent a club record £30m to make Raul Jimenez’s loan move from Benfica permanent.
Wolves host Crusaders at Molineux on Thursday in the Europa League second round qualifying, live on talkSPORT 2 – the first time in 39 years the club have played in European competition.
